The City and County plow the roads. They are not allowed to plow personal driveways. It's their job to make 2 passes per road to make them drivable. They plow the whole County to keep school bus routes and emergency routes open.

If you water in the afternoon, especially during the summer, the heat and sun are at their peak and the plant's water will evaporate instead of absorbing into the soil and roots. If you water when it's windy all the water will be lost to evaporation.

10pm to 7am: Watering in the morning before 10am is the best time for your lawn. It's cooler and winds tend to be calmer so water can soak into the soil and be absorbed by the grass roots before it can evaporate.
Sanitation starts the garbage route at 7am. There are several reasons your trash can may not have been picked up. 1) Your trash can/dumpster was blocked by a vehicle or too much snow 2) It wasn't out by 7 am 3) You had items in your trash can that are not permitted, and the lid would not close completely 4) It was not in the designated spot for pick up. If your water bill has gone up a large amount, you may have a leak. It could be a running toilet, faucet dripping, or a broken pipe, etc. If this happens you may qualify for our once-a-year leak forgiveness program. For approval, The leak has to be fixed, you must fill out the application online or come into our office and fill one out. It will be reviewed and decided how much will be forgiven. This is for culinary or secondary water.

If you are renting your home or property and would like the bill to be under the tenant's name have them, come in to fill out a utility application. If a tenant moves out of the home, please have them notify the city so we can have utilities changed back to the owner of the home and close the renter's account. If you have sold a home call and let the city know so we can close the account. A lack of contact may result in extra billing for tenant or the owner of the property.
